Arts & Crafts adhesive is now twinned with our new Easi-Flo valve and Easi-control actuator system, which give greater finger tip control; for larger areas, press actuator full on and move can away slightly. For narrower band widths or to apply less adhesive, press the actuator more gently and move can closer.
Method of Use
This adhesive is extremely easy to apply; firstly ensure that mating surfaces are clean, dry and free from any contaminants. Then spray the adhesive in a uniform coating from approximately 25cm (10 inches).
For applications on porous materials or to achieve maximum strength adhesion, coat both surfaces. Allow 1-2 minutes for the solvents to evaporate and then press together firmly, working from the centre outwards to achieve a good bond. For a lighter bond, or where repositioning may be required, spray onto one surface only, allowing the adhesive to dry before pressing into place.
For best results, the adhesive should be used at room temperatures between 15°C – 25°C and stored at temperatures between 10°C – 20°C. Any excess adhesive can be removed with Solvent Cleaner.
After use, invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle. This adhesive is not suitable for
heavily plasticized PVC.
An evaluation of the adhesive should be carried out in application conditions before commercial use is undertaken, this should also include reference to ageing.
